The Editing Endpoints as a Pipeline
- →Choose correctly between retake, extend, reframe, and HDR for a given post-production problem
- →Respect the hard input limits — 60s reframe input, 505 billed extend frames, HDR frame caps by resolution
- →Compose the four endpoints into one delivery pipeline with a pre-flight cost estimate
Everything up to this point has made new video. The four endpoints in this lesson change video that already exists — and they are where an API integration stops being a demo and starts being a delivery system. A production pipeline almost never ships the raw output of one generate call. It ships a master that has been repaired, lengthened, cut to three aspect ratios, and handed to a colorist.
All four post-production endpoints are Pro-tier work. From the compatibility matrix: retake, extend, and reframe are Yes on ltx-2-3-pro and No on ltx-2-3-fast. If your service has a "cheap tier" that routes to Fast, that tier simply cannot offer editing. Decide that at the product level, not at the 400-response level.
